Semax in Published Research

Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) consisting of the ACTH(4–7) fragment extended with a C-terminal Pro-Gly-Pro tripeptide that increases resistance to peptidases.

It is studied in neuropeptide research, including BDNF and neurotrophin gene-expression studies in cell and tissue models. It is often compared with Selank.
